BOSTON--()--Boston University Questrom School of Business announced today that Peter Fasolo, Ph.D., has been named Director of the Human Resources Policy Institute (HRPI) and Professor of Practice, Management & Organizations.

Founded in 1981 by Professor Emeritus Fred Foulkes, the Human Resources Policy Institute aims to innovate modern HR policy and practice through research, professional development, and academic learning. HRPI is home to 50 member organizations, including global C-level leaders in finance, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and consumer goods organizations. HRPI members join a network of forward-thinking HR executives across the world’s biggest companies, gain access to innovative research, and receive exclusive invitations to semi-annual meetings that explore cutting-edge HR topics. Fasolo will take over leadership of the HRPI from Interim Co-Directors Charles Tharp and Constance Hadley who will now serve as HRPI Fellow (Tharp) and Associate Director (Hadley), as well as members of the HRPI Steering Committee.

Fasolo is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Office at Johnson & Johnson, a Fortune 50 company with $82 billion in global revenues and 135,000 employees across 60 countries. In this role, Fasolo served on the Johnson & Johnson Executive Committee and was responsible for global talent, recruiting, diversity, compensation & benefits, and all aspects of the human resources agenda for the company. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Fasolo held senior human resources positions at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) and Bristol-Myers Squibb. In 2017, he was designated as Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, the highest honor in the HR profession. In 2022, Fasolo was named Human Resource Executive's HR Executive of the Year.
